Jake, wonderful topside view with plenty of nice detail. I have mixed feelings about the vegetation below the Kite. I guess you could clone it out, if you were so inclined. But not bad as is, and the Snail Kite is excellent. Well done!

I know what you are saying about the vegetation but I wanted to show exactly what I was seeing when I took the photo. It is the first sharp photo that I've gotten of the Snail Kite in flight as they are very hard to come by on the west coast of Florida. We've had a bumper crop of Apple Snails so maybe they will be more common this year - but they have to compete with the Limpkins as well.

Nice flight shot Jake and the foliage doesn't bother me. I think I photographed this same bird at that location last week but not any flight shots.
