Here's one from out on SF bay yesterday. Got him lust as he floated into for a landing. Crop is a bit tight but it's all the room I have to work with because of other OOF birds that cluttered up the background. Was also thinking this crop might suggest an up and down movement versus strictly right to left.

1/3200 at f/5.6, ISO 640

This is really nice, Dorian. The lighting is excellent, and the landing pose could not be better. Great background, and the crop is fine. Very well done!

Very nice capture - great wing position, fine detail, and nice BG. To me, the crop is fine, but you could easily add some matching canvas with the PS "content aware" tool.
