Shot this afternoon. Fairly harsh sunlight, so image is a bit flat.
On the way home I spotted this juvenile in the grass field not too far from the road. There is very little traffic on this road, so I pulled over and climbed to pass side seat. I watched this eagle for a while, it was just sitting there and just looking around. I was waiting for take off and it finally did.

1D4, SIGMA 500mm f/4.5 EX DG HSM
1/1600, ISO-640, f/7.1 from the car.

A beauty of a take off image, Ludo. Nice detail, and I like how close you were able to get.
