I have developed three images of the series. I kind of like this one the best. Might post an other one later.
Thanks for looking.

Nice action capture!  What was the interaction, fighting, courtship? I'm just curious.

Love the action. I've only seen a few Black-backed Gulls but never with any action. It must be something to see. A series of this would tell a nice story. Well done.

A fine action and behavioral image, Karl. I love the splashing water and the wing positions you captured. Very good shot.

Great shot Karl. These gulls are very attractive with the sharp contrast of the dark wing shield against the white body. I saw only one of these while in Florida and it was perched high on a street light. As a result no decent images.

Thanks, Bob.
They are very common towards the east coast in Quebec, but considered a rarity around here.

Excellent sharp capture of the interaction between these tetchy gulls, Karl!
