I had always wanted a nice bird to come through this area in early morning light at Bosque and checked whenever I was there.  Then a couple of years ago I got my wish.

Sweet warm light and lovely reflections, Lana! Great positioning of the grebe within the frame, particularly using the line of the wake. Another beauty from Bosque!

Beautiful light. I really like the golden vegetation and blue sky reflected in the water in the perfect proportion. Nice subject and composition too.

With colour tones and light as sweet as this I can fully understand your wish, Lana! The reflections of both grebe and reeds are beautifully captured in this lovely composition.
