Photo taken at Laguna Seca Ranch in South Texas February 11, 2018.

Nikon D850, 300mm lens, 1/400 sec at f/5.6, ISO 800.

Very overcast day.  Would have liked to have more dof and better shutter speed.  Sometimes, you just have to take what is given.

Great shot, Gene! Love the yellow in the perch matching the yellow in the Warbler.

I think you did just fine with this one. I don't get much DOF on warblers due to low light much of the time so I don't really think of it as a problem. You gotta love the Yellow-rumped Warbler......on a bad warbler day, I can usually count on this one.
