This was a lifer for me.  The first time I saw them I wasn't sure what they were.  The second time I got lucky and while I was watching a flock of them flit around the trees, this one came down and landed almost in front of me.  Taken in New Mexico.

I love the very "natural" (not set up) appearance of this image in native habitat. It is well composed and refreshing! Very nice!

Great story and image.- lifers are always fun and when they come close to visit on a natural perch that just makes the effort worthwhile. Congratulations.

What a beautiful little bird and lovely to see it in its natural habitat. Great composition and nice use of the different elements. I am a fan of images that show us where the different subjects are found, so this is a treat for me, Lana!
