Beautiful bird in a great setting! Would like for the head to be positioned differently, but super nonetheless.

You have an excellent capture of one of my favourite birds for colour and your side lighting really shows the green sheen on the wing to advantage.. The headdress of the fan palm works for me!

Beauty bird, however, I find the background kind of competing with the bird.

Jake, I like the palm leaves. Not sure that the bottom leaves adds much to the image?

Lovely bird and nice detail, Jake. The head is perfectly positioned in the centre of the 'fan' palm leaf but I wish it had turned just a little more towards you instead of looking away.
