I drove 3+ hours to photograph the Short-eared Owls. A great place but a long drive for about 40 minutes to shoot.
They stayed a bit far from the road but I did manage to get a couple of images. This was the last of the light. Canon 1DX, 500mm II, 1.4X TC, tripod ISO 1250, 1/1600, f/8 Lana Hays
