Went out looking for a rare western Kansas Snowy Owl. I came up empty, so resorted to some of the regulars. I found a very large flock of around a couple thousand Lapland Longspurs close to one of the county roads and went to work. Even with hundreds of close subjects that love to fly around the fields at low heights, it's still a very very difficult endeavor to get a sharp frame with a nice wing/bank position. Cleaned up the background with some Guassian Blur. Please left-click for larger version. Thanks for looking!
