Out of the Black Bald Eagle

Late afternoon from last years tour.  Mountainside behind eagle was in shade.  Setting a manual exposure allowed us to get some dramatic light on the birds as they would bank in front of the dark BG.

Beautiful banking shot against a dark BG. I could imagine another version with a vertical crop.
