Burlington Ontario, Ship Canal at the Lift bridge.
There are thousands of them feeding on Zebra Mussels.
They can be found mostly between late November to end of January.
It depends on the ice condition as the ice moves in and out from the bay with the ebb and tide
but sometimes is freezes solid including the Lake, along the shore.
