Shasta County, Ca
7D2, 500/F4+1.4, F5.6, 1/100, +1 EC, ISO 800, beanbag.  All the other widgeon stayed in the shadows, but this little drake cruised through the only patch of reflected light in the canal.  Wish for more shutter speed, but this was by far the best in the series.  Thanks for any comments or suggestions, Dave

The silky looking water, and the colors reflected in it, are fantastic! And the alert pose is great. Very nice image!

Amazing shot David! I love the colors of the reflected water...and 1/100 sec ..that is impressive for moving duck. Nice job.
