Debapratim, congratulations on your 100th Editor's Pick, Himalayan Blue Tail – it was so well deserved. And to start the new year you post this absolutely stunning image of the Pin-tailed Green Pigeon. Every aspect of this image is right on the mark. The background, the perch, the pose, the light, the exposure, everything could not be better. To me this is art. Congratulations.

That is one beautiful bird. I really like the colours on the bird. You did a really good job to get it in lovely lighting and the large perch shows the delicateness of this bird.

+1 with Carol Clarke. It's an incredible feat as not only he has proved himself as one of best Indian Bird Photographer but also imprinted a deep foothold in the International Bird Photography alongside.
This Post proves why it is so.
I would like to add his commitment and participation towards local Conservation movements is remarkable and has been cited even in National Geographic Print Magazine.
He has nurtured, encouraged, guided, mentored hordes of Photography juniors and photography enthusiasts like me.
Wish him every success in his endeavor.
