Taken this morning under frostbite conditions, I hope you enjoy my final post of the year as I have enjoyed viewing all of your posts.
A Happy & Healthy New Year to one and all. At midnight I will be raising a wee single malt to the best toast of all, "To absent friends and family" I sincerely hope that you will join me. At 7:00pm I will raise a glass to bring in the New Year with my family and long time and new pals across the pond.

An incredible image, Rob! This lovely snowy owl and natural winter scene are perfectly fitting for bringing in the new year. I have thoroughly enjoyed viewing your fine images over the past year, and can't wait to see what you will produce in the year ahead. I will join you at midnight.  8)

I wish you all the same, Rob. Beautiful image, The Owl still had a smile on its face despite the cold.

I love the comp with this one, Rob. Love the surrounding environment. Another nice snowy!
(I've hibernated for the last week or so - kudos for getting out there in this frigid weather)
