5th in my series of goshawk chicks being banded.
This is a shot taken from an adjacent tree before the volunteer scaled their tree to catch them for banding.

(Edit and correction:  This is the OTHER set of older chicks banded the next day. The first set is clearly younger)  

The left nestling is starting to get worried at seeing me and bristling at the intrusion.

Love the jungle texture of the bg, action of the chicks - regal even at an early stage - great shot.

The chicks are much larger than I originally thought. Great shot of this pair – they are good-looking birds even as chicks!

I like the storytelling quality of this image - even without your narrative. The bird on the left seems to have a look of "this can't be good"! These two are characters.
