This was captured on a cloudy morning last August at Nickerson Beach.

D500, 500f4 + 1.4 TC, ISO 5000, 1/1250s @ f/8 manual.  FF

Nice action shot with food item in the beak, Bill. I hope the strap was not attached to the legs.

This image — the young Oystercatcher with human debris around its leg — makes a bold statement about the environment and how it threatens birds and wildlife. Nicely done, Bill.
