Second in my series of the banding of 2 endangered goshawk chickies.
Here, the 2 chicks have been banded and returned to their nest, none too happy but completely unharmed (except for their pride). The left chick is watching the volunteer start to lower himself back to the ground with the ropes. ("Good riddance.." ) The other chick is just generally bummed about his new red leg band.
