Second in my series of the banding of 2 endangered goshawk chickies.

Here, the 2 chicks have been banded and returned to their nest, none too happy but completely unharmed (except for their pride).
The left chick is watching the volunteer start to lower himself back to the ground with the ropes.   ("Good riddance.." )
The other chick is just generally bummed about his new red leg band.   (I know, I know...Anthropomorphism.   :D   They actually ALL look grumpy)

Very amusing Sandy! Love your story! Great photo too- were you way up there swinging from a rope?

A job well done, Sandy. Hanging from a rope 30 feet above ground to capture these wonderful chicks!

A good documentary photo of the wildlife mgmt. of these birds. And well titled Sandy. They look like they are ready to sing that Tom Petty song "Don't come around here no more"!
