Bald Eagle ...young

Here is a shot from last Monday. This young eagle landed across a little canal. There were some branches blocking the clear view.
Bald Eagles don't get their full blown white head plumage unit they reach maturity , usually around 5th year. Sometimes sooner, but that is rare.

1/1000, ISO-1600, f/6.3, handheld.

I like the low profile, the talons are huge. What a great capture, it looks like a first year juv.
