This is amazing, Karl. Extraordinary banking shot with outstanding detail of this difficult to photograph speedster. Bravo!

Thanks Run.
I consider this shot to have been one of my best shots of this species due to the full wing stretch, fanned tail and
head turn.
I had the whole series about six frames, but this was the best of the series.

Oh My Goodness!!! This is "Killer Karl"!! In the realm of beautiful waterfowl flight shots, this one ranks way up there.
You couldn't have painted a better pose than this guy presented you. It is flawless, even the tertial streamers off of the coverts are perfect and there's a beautiful split in the fork tail. The wing and tail spread couldn't be better revealing every primary, secondary, covert and tail feather perfectly.
Then there's the head angle, Looking sideways and right at us, come on!!.
Great techs revealing nice details through the colors and shades rounds this off to be one of your best flight frames ever Karl!!

Thank you David, Carol, Jan, Robert, Mike, James and could go on, thank you all.
David, your kind words mean a lot to me as I know you are an outstanding flight shooter and an expert naturalist.

Super shot Karl. Nice banking pose. The duck must have been pulling 10G when banking with such wing spread :-)

I can't believe you were able to get a full topside shot. Holey Shamoley - that is so great!
