Snail kites are endangered, thus the banding. 
All chicks are banded soon after hatching, and quickly returned to the nest.

A beautiful and dynamic flight shot with very good detail, Sandy. Wish the eye were just a little more visible. :) I don't think the pose, with wings extended upward, could be any better. Well done!
