I have had very poor luck with Magpies even as common as they are. Seems like every time you are ready to press the shutter, off they go. Luck on my side for this morning.

To me, the image has an artistic feel to it. Simple but elegant. Well done!

I like magpies, really smart birds and very helpful around the house here in town - our resident family clean out my rain gutters every day and carefully throw any moss down on the patio so the rain can flow freely off the roof and down the rain pipes.  :)
