Welcome, Mousam. Excellent image! The fact you captured the out-of-focus image of the child in the background really makes this image for me. It provides depth to the image and adds great interest to the scene. It helps, of course, that the kingfisher is sharp and pleasingly placed within the frame. Very well done!

Welcome to Naturescapes, and what a wonderful first post!

I love what you have done here with the sharp detail on the flying kingfisher, and the out of focus child watching in the background.  The future survival of wildlife becomes more and more uncertain, and the children who are showing an interest now, will play a major part in what happens in years to come.

Your excellent and evocative image contains a valuable message as well as being a superb shot.  Very well done! :)
