Looking at you, looking at me.  Bit of a grab shot.  Was in the Mara Serena Lodge after the morning safari.  

This fella was in the tree by my window so grabbed a D300 and 500 AFS as was nearest.  90% FF, (cropped small bit off the left and top).  Tight view but first time i'd seen so was a grab the moment shot.

1/1250 F5 ISO 400..  Challenging to process this.  Please feel free to click on the image to view uncompressed.

What a nice shot, especially the quick moment shot. Amazing blue eye circles and the beak, almost like a toy.

Dave, the killer blue color of eye and beak is off the charts awesome! Also, greatly enjoyed the incredible detail visible in the large view. Not bad for a shot from your lodge window.
