This is fantastic, Rob. The composition is super - love the natural setting presented here. Eye contact is good, too.
Cheers

Wow, what a nice shot. I love the settings with the snow, good eye contact. Owl must have been pretty close shooting with 300mm. Nice job Rob.

Rob, Much better detail when clicked on. It looks very, very cold.

A lovely, well composed image in beautiful winter habitat. The touches of snow on the perch and surrounding tree branches really convey the winter message. Great work, Rob!!!

A bit of a shock to see the winter scenes coming through now, but this one is just so beautiful!  Well worth a click to view the uncompressed image with its superb detail.  Wonderful capture Rob.  Love it!  :D

An additional observation, Rob. Note the similarity between the plumage of the owl and the body of the large tree on the right. Winter camouflage! Very cool.

Sweet portrait - a beautiful, healthy-looking owl.
The tree branch behind the owl's left side is bothersome, but still a fine image.
