Had a nice setup against beauty background but the bird never landed on it. Maybe an other time.

Congrats Karl on capturing this Wren, they never stay in one place too long. Nice detail and the dark background certainly adds to this image.

The dark background sets off the wren beautifully, Karl. Excellent close-up view of this small bird with nice eye contact and great detail. Excellent work!

Nice feather detail, pose, and an "ok" perch.
They rarely cooperate, imo - SO many variables must come together well to get a great image.
