Barred Owl

Finally was able to log into my account. Recovery password didn't work.

This Barred Owl was shot few days ago. I am chasing this owl for a while. Beautiful bird. Shot in overcast conditions.

1D4, SIGMA 150-600mm DG OS HSM (SPORT)
1/250, ISO-500, f/6.3 @ 600mm, handheld.

Overcast condition is almost always better. Excellent image, nice feather details and nice natural light in the eyes. Nice work Ludo.

Wonderful detail and look-back pose, Ludo! I agree with Karl, the natural light reflection in the eyes is excellent. Very nice!

Nice catch of this beautiful raptor!
Fine pose and feather detail. The bright areas in the BG are a bit distracting, imo,
but could easily be minimized with a program like the free Nik "Viveza".
