Quite the shot...though I may be wrong but I believe that is a loggershead especially if shot in S. Calif.

Not certain about the ID, but I believe that only the Northern Shrike has the white patch on the top of the rump.

This is a loggerhead shrike.  Nice composition.  Gnarly cool perch.  Shooting angle is a bit steep.
