Crested Pigeons

Hi,

had this pair come in to a cattle trough. I was actually waiting for parrots, which never showed, but getting these two, certainly made up for it. I quite liked the faded grey/beige colours in the image.

Crested Pigeons to me are certainly one of the most spectacular pigeons.

I loved Crested Pigeons since I visited Australia... never was able to take a pair in this beautiful setting.

Great shot of pigeons that I haven't seen before. Nice to get ventral and dorsal views in one shot with two good head angles. And I agree with you about the nice colors.

That blue and green really pops against their creamy color.
Awesome that you got both in focus and with good head angles as it's not that easy to do.
