Hi,

Found this handsome bird just outside Darwin in the Northern Territory and he put on quite a show. The perch is a really cool bush that grows in that area, which was flowering at the time :)
Definitely worth it being bitten by mosquitoes about a million times, even though I almost gave up at the time, because they were just insane!

This image has it all: the lovely little bird, the wonderful singing pose, the colorful flowering perch, the killer background, etc. Truly superb, Jan! Congratulations on such a fine image!

Jan, Great Image. I've never faced the wrath of Australian mosquitos, but I have been in the Alaskan Tundra when the Mosquitos have hatched. Glad you stuck with it.

Wow this one is awesome!!. The subject is great, and the pose is even better, but the perch with the little Red Star flowers is over-the-top. Great work!!
