These wrens were in extreme moult at the time and stayed around for a few weeks. I went away for a week and on my return they could not be found. I assume now with their new feathers they flew off to another woodlot. If the winters are mild they will stay and winter locally visiting feeders. Maybe they flew South and know something I don't know about the winter that will soon be upon us.
