This is a Red-bellied Woodpecker male photographed in the spring, 2017. Vertical format cropped to horizontal. Please click on image to view full size. Thank you.
Nikon D500, Nikkor 500mm + 1.4x, f/8 @ 1/320, ISO 2000, Gitzo Tripod, Wimberley II Head.

Love the pose that shows the red belly and both legs, with a nice head turn. Excellent capture, Ron.
