Photo taken in a hide .. I had extraordinary summer with kingfisher. I spent several in the morning and evening has to wait for its visit which sometimes lasted that a few seconds ...For this photo, its visit it is extended during 6 minutes .... of big happiness !

Such a wonderful capture, a very difficult bird to photograph , getting close and making sure your exposure is correct for the dark head feathers and very white neck feathers.

Serge, Excellent capture. It sure would be interesting to see the Kingfisher flying with a fish that size.

Yes he can fly with this thickness of fish. I have one photo which proves it  !!!
