Last black-bellied image.
This guy was a pretty curious fellow (assuming he is "he"). As I lay flat on my stomach in the wet, green algae, this plover came right up to me - made a couple of passes while giving me the "eye" and started to roost not more than a few feet away. Another soon joined him, along with a dunlin. Pretty cool (but maybe that was the lake water in my shorts). Canon 80D 400mm 1/1600 f/7.1 ISO320 |
