Dowitchers on the prowl

Shot few days ago late afternoon, sun was getting really low creating  a nice soft light. The color reflection of the mud matches Dowitchers perfectly,,,so well camouflaged. They had to , Peregrines dive bomb on them frequently.
1D4, SIGMA 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM
1/500, ISO-1000, f/7.1 @600mm on tripod.

Dowitchers remind me of sowing machines with their bills going up and down in the mud, a cool capture with them feeding.
