Just got the new Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM (SPORT).
I went to one of my favorite places to take pictures of the birds and I came across this young Great Horned Owl. Sun was low creating a nice glow.
I was shooting at 600mm wide open to see how the lens perform.

Sweet image with your new lens! I like the pose of the owl, and the leaves on either side of it are very attractive. Great evening lighting too. Good job, Ludo!

Nice job dealing with the dappled light and shadows.

Wonderful work Ludo, and congrats on the new toy!
I had one last year, before I bought a 500mm prime, and it,s not a bad lens, but almost as heavy as the prime, and front heavy when zoomed out!
Was surprised at the build quality, and sharpness!
