7D2, 500/F4+1.4, F10, 1/500, ISO 800, tripod, doghouse blind.
Certainly better if the birds eyes were visible, but I think this works.

Whatever is lost by not seeing the bird's eye is made up for by the fine display of the fish. Very nice!

works for me! great eye contact on the fish which more than makes up for none on the KF David. Could say that there is great feather detail on the KF but the fish part is super strong. cracking shot.
