Broad-tailed Hummingbird being threatened by Black-chinned Hummingbird
Selasphorus platycercus and Archilochus alexandri Tucson, Pima County, Arizona, United States 11 September 2017 Adult Female (Broad-tailed) at Yellow Bells (Tacoma stans) flower and immature male (Black-chinned). Had fun shooting another annual fall migration influx of hummingbirds in the yard. 400-600 hummers per day as measured by the 12 cups of sugar water we go through per day.
