Shot yesterday morning. I almost missed this owl, they blend so well in the trees.
1D3, EF300m f/2.8L USM NON-IS + 2.0X TC II (600mm f/5.6)
1/125, ISO-1600, f/8.0 on the tripod.

The shooting angle is a bit steep but the detail, uncluttered BG and the good look at the eye make up for it. Well done
