Here's one from Galveston, Texas this spring.  This is a shot that I have been wanting to get for a while down there, a flock of avocets banking in flight.  This one is better viewed large.

A beautiful capture, Nate. Lovely light, and not one overlap. I love the way they bank in unison. I caught something similar at Elkhorn Slough a few years back, but not nearly as nice as this.

Not as easy as it looks!! I have been shooting flocks of birds for years from redwing blackbirds to ducks to stilts to sanderlings to avocets to etc........ and have only maybe one or two frames that are barely decent. Birds out of the DOF, overlapping birds, banking away, poor head angles, poor light angles etc.......
Well done to get these guys lined up nicely in a good banking pose. Maybe increase the exposure a bit? Well done
