An awesome looking quail found in the scrubland parts around my city, Pune, India.These guys get pretty active after a good spell of monsoon rain and are often heard calling from most of the farms.Quite difficult to spot one and photograph as they're pretty shy like most of the quails.Got lucky one day about 2 years ago and got some nice frame filling images of this beauty.

Shot with Canon EOS 70D and a 400 f5.6 lens.Used a car as a hide.

The colours are fantastic and I like the crop, I find the white OOF white flower distracting. Is the an opportunity to add more canvas on the right side?
