One from last weekend while at a pal's cabin up in the Muskokas.
Taken with a Nikon D500.
1/50 sec. f/5.6. 500mm
ISO-800.

Such a handsome owl, Robert, and captured in beautiful habitat. I'm picking up a very slight green tint to the upper right quarter of the face, perhaps an indication you were shooting through some vegetation which was thrown out of focus when you took the picture. A very minor point, and definitely not a game-changer, because this is a fantastic image!

What a shame that vegetation falls with a green shadow across those wonderful eyes, because apart from that (or even with it) this is a gorgeous image with such a beautiful back lit setting, and the pose and detail on the owl is superb!
