Lesser Kiskadee - The Pantanal, Brazil
D500, 500mm, ISO 500, f/7.1, 1/800s
This is a slightly smaller and thinner billed Kiskadee than the Great Kiskadee that ranges into south Texas in the USA.  These guys like to sit on Hyacinth in the rivers of the Pantanal and are very approachable by boat. Getting a clean shot is the challenge but I was successful in this case.  This is not cropped and as is from the camera using just C1 Pro's camera profile for the D500.

Very pensive pose. Perch is different and cool as well.
