Hi,
On my April spring break I spent a few days in South Texas before I went to a ranch.. I think I did better off a ranch then on one.. I traveled with holly branches in my suitcase and it worked for many species including this one..Unfortunately the weather was extremely windy and cloudy, making it difficult to get sharp images..

I used several local perches too, and I am not sure I like this one as the flowers tend to overwhelm the image.. agree?

thanks for looking always and image critique.

This is sweet. The pink is really a nice touch. Is this a native plant or one you brought from afar?

Bougainvillea grow in texas, but are not native.
I don't mind the bright pink one here, but white might have been better.
Nice pose from the bird, and fine detail. I think, if it were mine, I'd clone the pink back away from intersecting the tail as it presently does. I might even clone that whole group of blooms out.
Quite a nice image -
Sandy

Very nice James. The bird pops great off of that dark green background. I would be very happy with this without the flowers.

With such a gloriously coloured bird the blossoms are really not needed, but apart from the flowers which merge with the tail, this works quite well with lovely detail.

What a great perky pose James!! The colors work well together, especially against the nice green BG. I agree about the tail merging but otherwise a solid frame. Well done
