1D4, 500f4, 1.4x, 1/1600s, f/8, ISO 640, manual

Photographed at Nickerson Beach on Long Island a few days ago. The younger one looked pretty exhausted from hatching and they both still had their egg tooth. The older sibling was very friendly and they huddled while the parent was nearby.

Super image.. great light and details.. are you on a tripod flat or a skimmer? or just handholding while laying down?
