Photographed at Nickerson Beach on Long Island early in the morning. The parent tried to teach the little one how to get to the food, the chick was very attentive but still needed some help.

Super fantastic frame. I like in special the reflection on the sand, but .... "no" I like it all.

Thanks, James! I think they stop charging around 5:30 PM but I always go in the morning to have at least one way without constant stop-and-go traffic. Last time I had a major traffic jam at one of the bridges at 4:30 AM, though. :)

Wonderful shot, Axel. Great light and great behavior. The chicks were larger when I was there a few days ago, but still exhibiting their learning behavior. I wish I had had your beautiful morning light on that day.

James, officially I believe they stop charging at 6:00, but when I arrived at 5:45 the booth was closed.
