Photo taken at Laguna Seca Ranch in South Texas June 25, 2017.

Nikon D810, 300mm lens, 1.4 TC, 1/1250 sec at f/10, ISO 640.

As a youngster growing up in South Texas, I remember seeing probably a hundred or more flying over at one time.  The population has dwindled, but appears to be on the rebound because Mexico now enforces a limit on how many hunters can harvest.
