Pink Floyd: "There's no sensation to compare with this
Suspended animation, a state of bliss"

It was a nice strong Westerly wind last night (Wednesday).
I saw on Sunday that the oldest chick is almost ready to fly.
(They have three)
It was an amazing experience to see the practicing and finally a small lift off.
(Largest was about four feet above the nest.)
I'm pretty sure tomorrow will be the big day: the first flight.
Thanks for looking.

Karl, what a cool moment captured, just floating above the nest in the wind!  Love the splayed toes and the look of concentration, like he's being extra careful - very sweet behavior shot and a fun image.

Great image of this flight practice, I like the pose and that we can see the talons well and also they way the parent inspects the action.
