young European Kestrel

This bird had just fledged,there were 5 brothers and sisters,taken on the moors in Lancashire uk.You can still see some down on its forhead.Tripod,cannon 5D MK3,CANNON500MM F4,IS MK1,1/4 EXT,giving 700mm FL,crop,sharpened for web.1/1000S,F6.3,ISO1000.

sweet fluffy baby - great catch. Nice pose, fine detail, complimentary Bg and the perch doesn't bother me a bit.

Thankyou for looking and comments,just like to mention that I am not a fan of Hands of Man perches,but this metal perch is old and rotting,so it did not bother me too much.thanks again.

Chris, cute little guy with charming puffy pose, love the downy feathers on forehead.  Intriguing lighting, and the dark BG makes the juvie pop - really sweet image.
