I spent some time in a kayak shooting what was a new species for my photo collection, Clark's Grebe. I had never shot from a kayak before, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The chicks hadn't hatched yet so I might have to return once they do.

Dorian, great job first-timing from a kayak, along with the added bonus of having a new species, that must have been quite an adventure!  Love the rich colors, excellent exposure and the beautiful red eye captured, wonderful image.

Excellent image. The low perspective, nice detail and great light and color make this one a keeper.

Very cool intimate capture Dorian. Nice pose, colors and details. Now I'm just waiting for the chick riding on the back shot, and for a ride in your kayak:)
